12.5mm (1/2") high, pin stub extender allows bringing pin stubs and pin stub sample holders closer to the pole piece without moving the SEM sample stage. Multiple extenders are stackable. Mini Pin Stubs

Mini pin stubs are ideal for small samples or parts which need to be examined individually. Takes less space with a head diameter of 6.5mm, small samples are easier to locate and it is a low cost alternative for the standard 12.7mm pin stub.
Available with the standard 3.2mm pin in two lengths: most common 9.5mm length for many SEM's and shorter 6.25mm for ZEISS/LEO SEMs. This mini pin stub is available in three materials:
  • Aluminum - for standard imaging applications
  • Copper - for Cryo and heating stage applications
  • Stainless Steel (18-8) - as a non-corrosive and cleaner alternative for environmental SEM's and FESEM
