The OC® Five paste and the OC® Seven grease are both blended, oxygen safe formulations consisting of fine PTFE particles and Halocarbon® oil, producing a superior sealant that is chemically inert and environmentally safe. OC® Five comes in the form of a (thicker paste), whereas OC® Seven comes in the form of a grease. They are both suitable for lubrication and sealing applications in high vacuum (10-7 Torr / 10-7 mbar range).
Excellent thread and joint sealant in applications where exposure to oxygen, corrosive gases or harsh chemicals is probable. |
Superior lubricant for O-rings, gaskets, bearings, stop cocks, cryo-application, gas valves, etc. Off-white, homogeneous formulation which is thermally stable from -240°C to +232°C (-400°F to +450°F). It is non-flammable, waterproof, odorless, non-toxic, non-migrating as well as anti-corrosive, anti-galling and anti-seize. Supplied in 2 oz (57g) container. Not recommended for aluminum to aluminum applications. Do not use with concentrated alkalis, fluorine or chlorine trifluorine.
