this gauge uses a totally new, high accuracy capacitive sensor.

Accuracy .001" (.02mm); resolution .0005" (.01mm); repeatability 1 digit 10µm ± 2s.
Hardened stainless steel construction.
Incremental floating zero. Deviations are read out directly with no math.
Direct inch/metric conversion.
Increased measuring, tracking speed of approximately 60"/second.
Zero button may be reconfigured as a hold button. If tool is used for SPC, it will automatically be configured as a data output switch.

Ultra-Cal IV has a direct RS-232C output; allows connection of the tool to any computer or printer with no interface necessary! Simply hook up the tool with the specially constructed optoelectronic cable (with 9 pin serial connector) and enjoy direct SPC output. This feature alone will save many dollars over gauges requiring additional interfaces.

The Computerized Caliper

A fast, accurate, easy to use caliper with exceptional user features. Large LCD display shows inch (to 0.0005") and metric (to 0.01mm) as well as peak mode and data output mode status. Set tolerances at upper and lower limit and read automatically. Floating zero for easy comparative measurements. Body is hardened stainless steel; jaws measure outside, inside, depth and "step" work. pro-max caliper

Designed for the lab
Switch from inches to millimeters at the touch of a button. Great for use in measuring scratch or damage sensitive materials. Will not corrode when used on tissue or other wet materials. This caliper will measure up to 6" (152mm).
The graduated scale on the caliper body is for approximate reference only, the exact measurement (accurate to ±0.1mm/0.01") is shown on the LCD display.

Zeroes at any point
Zero button instantly sets unit to zero when jaws are at any position. This permits setting a Floating Zero™ or reference point to read “greater than or less than results with a minus sign displayed” without calculations. Ergonomic design, precision calipers are ideal for measuring outside or inside diameter. Easy to read, large digital display is 1/3" (8.5mm) high.

Traceable to NIST for accuracy
No lubrication is ever required on the ultra-smooth slide bar. Runs on the supplied battery for 10,000 hours. Made of strong composite carbon fiber. To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA.
