Traceable® Infrared Thermometer has the following performance characteristics. Operation is simple—turn on, point at sample, and take a reading in less than a second. Units read both Fahrenheit and Celsius of any surface—solids, semi-solids, and liquids. Non-invasive, no-touch, measurements are ideal for food preparation, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, petroleum products, clean rooms, electronics, and field use. To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Hold, freezes the display at the current reading. Field of view is 8:1 (example: reads a spot with the size of 2" from 16" away). The emissivity is adjustable from 0.05 to 1.00 in .01 steps for improved measurement accuracy. Minimum and maximum feature permits viewing highest and lowest readings at any time. Laser beam permits perfect sample target sighting. Features a handy lanyard and keychain. Display indicates low battery. Batteries are supplied with unit.

The IR thermometer reads both Fahrenheit and Celsius of any surface – solids, paste, powder and liquids. Non-invasive, no-touch measurements are ideal for food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, laboratory, clean room, electronics and field use. The temperature range is -27 to 428°F (-33 to 220°C) with a resolution of 0.1 o. Accuracy is ±1° C +2%.
