for conical or "Eppendorf-shaped" resin blocks

Many scientists spin down cell fragments in conical Eppendorf (or similar) tubes. To avoid handling of the pellet, the sample can be embedded in situ. However, this results in a narrow conical shaped block not easily mounted in most microtome chucks. This special chuck is designed specifically for such blocks.
