Tissue Carrier Set The Tissue Carrier Set provides an easy way to process specimens from fixation to embedding media infiltration without loss of tissue. The Retainer Ring, made from PTFE, holds the screen in place. The drawing below shows the specimen and fluid level in the assembly, in a Snap-Cap® Vial, during operation. Snap-Cap® Vial with Tissue Carrier Set inserted, not include with Vial.

	"Sandwiching Specimens"
A ring spacer made from PTFE may be used to form a chamber, as shown in the sketch above, with screening on both sides. Fluids are free to pass through, but "floating" specimens are secured.
