KODAK MULTIPAK 4489 FILM most popular packaging and price, contains 5 packages of 50 sheets
Regular packaging also available (100 sheets/pkg):
back up Storage Keep unopened film packages in a cool, dry place. A temperature of 21°C (70°F) or lower and a relative humidity of 50% are recommended. For long periods of storage, keep the film at a temperature of 4.5°C (40°F) or lower. Avoid Long Prepump Times (see PELCO Vacuum Desiccator). Moisture condensation must be avoided for film that has been refrigerated. Allow unopened film package to stand at room temperature at least 2 hours before use. Handle film by edges only and avoid accidental contact of either film surface with film holders, film racks, processing hangers or other objects. High concentrations of dust particles in the area of the film causes "pinholes" in processed negatives and black spots on the photographic film. Handling film during periods of 25% or lower relative humidity can cause static charge build-up on the film. This attracts dust particles, and the static charge can discharge abruptly causing unwanted exposure on the emulsion. Prior to exposure, static build-up can be minimized by wiping the top of the workbench with a damp cloth before loading film into holders (removing dust and increasing humidity in the immediate area). After exposure in the vacuum of the EM, the film is extremely dry. Although the film reaches equilibrium very quickly with the air humidity, it is a good idea to avoid sudden movements of the film that might cause friction and possible static discharge. Safelight Filters KODAK OA (greenish yellow), 1A (light red), OC (light amber), with a 15 watt bulb. Keep the safelight lamp at least 1.2m (4 ft.) away from the film-handling area. Developer KODAK D-19 (1 part developer to 2 parts water) at 20°C (68°F) for 4 minutes. Development times longer than 4 minutes will result in increased background fog. Agitate manually or by nitrogen-burst. Replace the developer after 1 week or after processing the equivalent of 120 - 1-1/4 x 4 inch sheets per gallon. Rinse in running water for a full 1-1/2 minutes at 18 to 21°C (65 - 70°F). Agitate. Fix at 18 to 21°C (65 - 70°F) for 8 - 10 minutes in KODAK Fixer. Agitate frequently. Wash the film 20 to 30 minutes in running water at 18 to 21°C (65 - 70°F). KODAK Hypo Clearing Agent can be used to reduce washing time and to conserve water. To minimize drying marks, treat the film in KODAK PHOTO-FLO solution after washing or wipe surfaces carefully with chamois or a soft viscose sponge. Dry the film in a dust-free place (see Table-top Film Dryer). courtesy Eastman Kodak Co. M7F069
