Section 3: Hazard Identification
Emergency overview
Appearance: Colorless liquid
Immediate effects: Mild irritant. Will bond skin to skin.
Potential health effects
Primary Routes of entry: Eyes, skin and inhalation.
Signs and Symptoms of Overexposure:
Eyes: Mild eye irritation and Lachrymation will occur slightly.
Skin: Rapid polymerization will occur on skin with heat.
Ingestion: ND
Inhalation: Mild irritation of the nose and throat.
Chronic Exposure: Contact with large quantities may cause skin burns. High vapor concentration can induce nasal mucus, headache and giddiness.
Chemical Listed As Carcinogen Or Potential Carcinogen: None
See Toxicological Information (Section11)
Potential environmental effects
See Ecological Information (Section 12)
Section 4: First Aid Measures
If accidental overexposure is suspected
Eye(s) Contact: If contact with eyes occurs, immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash material off the skin with plenty of water. Do not pull
bonded skin apart. It may be gently peeled apart using a blunt object as a
spoon, preferably after soaking in warm water.
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If coughing or difficulty in breathing
develops, get medical attention.
Ingestion: ND
Note to physician
Treatment: ND
Medical Conditions generally Aggravated by Exposure: Inhalation may cause nasal mucus, headache and giddiness in some individuals. Contact with eyes will cause Lachrymation, irritation.
Section 5: Fire Fighting Measures
Flash Point: 83°C Method: Closed cup
Flammable Limits: ND
Auto-ignition point: ND
Fire Extinguishing Media: Dry chemicals, carbon dioxide
Special Fire Fighting Procedures: Self-contained breathing apparatus with face
piece and protective clothing if involved in a fire of other materials.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: None known
Hazardous combustion products: ND
DOT Class: Not regulated.
Section 6: Accidental Release Measures
Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled: Wear eye protection,
protective clothing. Wipe and soak up liquid with absorbent like rags if a
large quantity is spilled. Ventilate spill area. Immerse absorbent in pail
water and dispose as oily rag. Water will cause instant polymerization to an
inert solid.
Waste Disposal Methods: Dispose of waste according to Federal, State and Local
Regulations.
Section 7: Handling and Storage
Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storage: Avoid contact with skin and
eyes. Store in a dark, cool place. Avoid storage with primers. Ventilate the
operation room.
Storage temperature: ND

Section 8: Exposure Controls / Personal Protection
Engineering Controls
Ventilation required: Local ventilation is recommended for use in large quantity. Provide normal air exchange with local and general mechanical exhaust.
Personal Protection Equipment
Respiratory protection: Not normally needed if controls are adequate.
Protective gloves: Polyethylene gloves
Skin protection: Avoid contact, clothing or as needed.
Eye protection: Eye glasses, goggles or face shield.
Additional clothing and/or equipment: Not required
