Routine Laboratory Microscope with built-in 3.0 Mega Pixel Digital Camera

The DMBA300 biological high performance microscope combines uncompromised optical clarity thanks to its integrated CCIS (Color Corrected Infinity System) optical system with an integrated high resolution CCD camera. The DMBA300 has the exactly the same optical and mechanical specifications as the BA300 microscope. See all options available on the BA300 Microscope Systems Diagram. A complete range of eyepieces and objectives are available to configure the DMBA300 for your application. (CCD and photo adapters are not available for the DMBA300 due to the integrated camera).

Microscope Stand The DMBA300 is designed with the user in mind. The coaxial focusing knobs are tension adjustable, the right hand focusing wheel has finger hollows for easy and fast focusing. The ergonomic design provides fatigue free operation even over longer periods of usage. The wide arm provides solid support and stability, perfect for high magnification operation while the T shaped design of the microscope body gives a small footprint saving vital desk space in today's laboratories.

Light Source The DMBA300 features a powerful 6V/30W quartz halogen illumination, together with the field iris diaphragm this provides an exact Koehler illumination. The flexible light source with built in intensity control is perfect for all microcopy modes - not just bright field

Observation Tube In order to maintain absolute parfocality, the Siedentopf observation tube allows retaining of focus even when the interpupillary distance is adjusted. Adding to the ergonomic design of the microscope the 30° inclined tubes are ideal for both comfort and posture management. Two trinocular versions are also available featuring professional light distribution sliders either for 100% binocular /100% photo tube or 100% binocular and 20/80% for binocular/photo. The trinocular heads are ideal for digital documentation and video projection.

Focusable Eyepieces The standard Widefield 10x eyepieces of the DMBA300 with a field of view of 20mm offer impeccable optics as well as a large overview of your slide. Independent diopter adjustment on each eyepiece is a professional feature usually reserved on more expensive microscopes. Users wearing eyeglasses will find the eyepieces' high eyepoint design very comfortable to use. Various reticles for measuring and counting are available for these eyepieces.

Quintuple Revolving Nosepiece The reversed design of the nosepiece means that when using the DMBA300, the user has more space to change specimen slides offering easy access and limiting damages to slides or objectives. The nosepiece features long-life a ball bearing mechanism with positive click-stop to ensure that each change of objective is accurate and centered.

Condenser The standard substage highly corrected Abbe condenser with N.A. 0.9 is attached to the microscope using a dovetail mount and can be adjusted through a precision rack and pinion drive ensuring a durable and smooth range of adjustments. The standard condenser has a slot for the Motic 3-position phase contrast slider (Ph10x, BF , Ph40x) which can be easily fitted for quick phase contrast microscopy.

The optional 5 position phase contrast turret condenser for the DMBA300 has been designed for the CCIS Plan Phase Objectives. The turret condenser comes with two choices for Ph10x, Ph20x, Ph40x, Ph100x, BF or Ph10x, Ph40x, Ph100x, BF, DF. These condensers offer maximum flexibility when rapid and easy changes between illumination and contrasting techniques are required.

Rectangular Mechanical Stage The DMBA300 comprises a large (174mm x145mm) hard coated mechanical stage with a travel range of 76mm x 50mm. Controlling the movement of the stage is made easy by low positioned coaxial control knobs. The stage surface is protected with a hard coating against abrasion and fungus growth.

2.0 Mega Pixel digital CCD camera

The 2.0 Mega Pixel digital 1/2" CMOS CCD camera has an image resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, fast 480MB/sec data transfer over USB 2.0 port and comes complete with Motic Image Plus 2.0 software
