The convenience and versatility of viewing a large image at 10x magnification, then zooming continuously all the way to close details at 40x magnification... or any point in between. Upright, un-reversed 3-dimensional image remains in focus throughout the zoom range. Features top light for incident illumination and a bottom light for transmitted illumination. The DC3-420TH / DC5-420TH come with fully integrated digital cameras in the system (see description below), see Camera Specifications. The stereo zoom microscope is fully functional independent of CCD camera application. See the Optical Specifications Chart for other magnifications with use of optional auxiliary objectives and eyepieces.

Optical System

• Paired widefield eyepieces 10x / FN 20 are 45° inclined with dual diopter adjustments. Interpupillary adjustment from 55 to 75mm. Eyepieces accept reticle with 23mm O.D.
• Viewing head rotates 360°
• Zoom ratio: 4:1 (10x to 40x with standard supplied lenses). Positive click stops at 10, 20, 30x and 40x. Achromatic color corrected parfocalled optical system provides sharp focused 3-D image throughout the zoom range
• 79mm working distance with standard lenses
• Total magnification range with optional lenses 2.5x - 120x

Illumination

• Top light is 12V/15W halogen,with blue filter, for incident illumination with adjustable beam and rheostat control
• Bottom light is 12V/10W Halogen light for transmitted illumination
• 4 position light control: top only/bottom only, top&bottom on/off
• 12V DC power converter, compatible with 100-240VAC / 50/60Hz
• 2.5A time delay fuse

Focusing

• Large dual focusing knobs, heavy-duty rack & pinion with slip-clutch and tension adjustment
• Tension adjustment eliminates focus "drift"
• Focusing block fits 25mm diameter post
• Working distance range with optional lenses 34 - 137mm

Heavy Duty Post Stand

• Standard post stand with built-in transformer for extra stability and space saving
• Auto switch power supply for 100-240V 50/60Hz
• Stage surface 165 x 220mm deep (6.5 x 8.75")
• Includes two 80 mm frosted glass and black/white contrast plates
• Locked on stage clips
