Polishing Cloths
A selection of premium polishing cloths for coarse and fine polishing of hard, soft and composite materials.
Most cloths are available with plain or PSA backing for easy mounting on the polishing discs. The polishing
cloths can be used with diamond compound, diamond spray or alumina suspension.

BoroFloat™ 8" Lapping Plate
The BoroFloat™ 8" Lapping Plate is produced by a float technique that yields superior surface accuracy,
typically 4 - 6 waves per inch (one wave equals 0.00002"). The resulting flatness makes this product an excellent
choice for a hand lapping plate. In addition, this material exhibits excellent thermal properties and chemical resistance.
This lapping plate is about three times more resistant to thermal shock than standard soda lime glass. It has the thermal
expansion properties of Tempax® or Pyrex®. Chemical resistance includes water, saline solutions, neutral and acidic
solutions, chlorine, bromine, iodine, and organic substances. |

Double Sided Adhesive Discs
With the double sided adhesive discs any Plain Back grinding, lapping and polishing disc can be turned into a
PSA type disc. The double sided adhesive layer ensures flat mounting and prevents "slipping" of the discs,
thus providing better finishing results. Suitable for mounting on aluminum, steel and glass.

3M™ Adhesive Remover
Powerful replacement for mineral spirits, solvents and other unfriendly cleaners. Ideally suited for
removing used grinding/lapping/polishing discs with PSA backing from their support discs. New food-grade
citrus based 3M™ adhesive remover is also very effective in removing overspray of any aerosol adhesives,
grease, oil, grime, tape residue, tar, wax, etc. A solvent-free formulation that provides wipe-away convenience
with no filmy residue.
Active ingredient is listed as GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) for food contact applications under FDA21 CFR 182.20.
Flammable propellent.
