Recommendations for Controlled Storage of 3M™ Coated Abrasives Coated abrasive products require care in storage as they are affected by atmospheric conditions. To obtain the best possible efficiency without experiencing any handling difficulties, the ideal storage conditions for all coated abrasive products are a constant temperature from 60° to 80°F (16° to 27°C) and a controlled relative humidity from 35% to 50%. If these conditions are not practical, leave the material in its original sealed containers, stored under conditions as comparable to the operating conditions as possible, avoiding extremes up to the moment of use. |
