PELCO^®SEM Specimen Preparation Station

This solid aluminum support block is a great practical tool for preparing samples on SEM specimen mounts. The SEM mounts are securely held by the specimen preparation station in an upright position providing a horizontal mounting plane. It holds 10 specimen mounts in identifiable numbered positions. Also ideally suited for examining mounted specimens under a stereo microscope. This versatile SEM specimen preparation station accommodates 3 types of SEM specimen mounts:

Standard pin stubs with 3.2mm (1/8") pins used on FEI/Philips, ZEISS/LEO, Tescan, CamScan, Leica, Cambridge Instruments, Aspex and RJ Lee SEMs on side 1
10mm cylinder mounts used in JEOL SEMs on side 2
15mm cylinder mounts used in Hitachi SEMs on side 2

Each station is 75mm (3") in diameter with a thickness of 25mm (1").

Multi angle SEM specimen preparation block holds standard pin mounts in horizontal, vertical and 45 degrees for easy mounting on pre-tilted specimen mounts. The vertical and 45 degree plane prevent specimen from moving when mounted on vertical and 45 degree specimen mounts. Locking screws are provided to secure the mounts during specimen preparation. Holds multiple pin mounts with 12.7 (1/2") and 25mm (1") diameter. The horizontal plane holds 5 pin mounts and is also useful for holding large pin mounts or pin mount type holders when mounting specimens. Material: solid aluminum with stainless steel locking screws. Overall dimensions are 70x50x40mm (2.75"x2"x1.6")

This practical pin mount stand made out of clean solid aluminum is either useful for storage or specimen preparation of large numbers of pin mounts. The pin mount stand can hold 40 of the standard 12.7mm (1/2") pin mounts or 12 of the 25mm (1") mounts. The pin mount stand is compatible with all types of SEM pin mounts up to 100mm (4") diameter and with the pin mount type SEM specimen holders. Six of these pin mount stands fit on a shelf in a 12"x12"x12" desiccator creating a storage capacity of 240 standard pin mounts per shelf!. Also very practical for storing pin mount type SEM specimen holders.
The PELCO^® Pin Mount Stand can also be used for supporting pin mounts and pin type SEM specimen holders when mounting specimen. Ideal when preparing large numbers of specimens. One corner of the pin mount stand has a notch to aid as a locator. Overall size is 137x89x16mm (5.39"x3.5"x0.63").

Variable-angle SEM or FIB specimen preparation station holds specimen mounts at angles between 0-90° for easy mounting on angled SEM or FIB specimen stubs. 100 markings with additional markings for 30°, 45° and 90°. Ideal for viewing or mounting using a stereo microscope. Overall size is 33x20x19mm mounted on a 50mm disc for stability. Made of aluminum with stainless steel screws. Allen wrench included.
