Specimen Mounts and Holders
for the Agilent 8500 FE-SEM

A wide range of sample mounts and holders is available for use in the compact Agilent 8500 FE-SEM. The specimen mounts with the M4 threaded hole are directly compatible with the Agilent 8500 FE-SEM adapter pin used in the specimen shuttle. A selection of pin mounts can be used directly in the specimen shuttle provided the sample height is properly set.

The wide choice of special holder and mounts available for the Agilent 8500 FE-SEM will enable easy investigation of a large variety of specimens. Easy mounting of specimens will make the Agilent 8500 compatible with more applications and will increase productivity. There are also adapters available to accommodate pin stub mounts or small cylinder mounts which are used in other brands of Scanning Electron Microscopes. This will allow the users of the Agilent 8500 FE-SEM to share specimen mounts used on other SEM platforms.
