Specimen Mounts, Holders and Consumables
for the Phenom Desktop SEM

A wide range of sample mounts and holders is available for use in the Phenom desk top SEM. The specimen mounts with the widely used 3.2mm (1/8") pin mounts fits directly into the unique Phenom sample loader. The wide choice of special holder and mounts available for the Phenom enables easy investigation of a large variety of specimens.

Easy mounting of specimens will make the Phenom SEM compatible with more applications and will increase productivity. There are also adapters available to accommodate small cylinder mounts which are used in other brands of Scanning Electron Microscopes. This will allow the users of the Phenom to share specimen mounts used on other SEM platforms.

Compact Variable Tilt Mount

This compact variable tilt specimen mount allows for easy mounting and tilting small samples from 0° – 90° and SEM investigation with small working distances. Markings for 30°, 45°, 70° and 90°.  Table size is 11 x 11mm (0.46" x0.46"). Overall size is 14 x 14 x12.7mm (0.55"x0.55"x0.5"). Made of aluminum with stainless steel screw. Allen wrench included.

PELCO Tabs™ Carbon Conductive Tabs, Double Coated

The simplicity of application and smooth, clean surfaces of PELCO Tabs™ Carbon Conductive Tabs are a significant improvement compared to many of the other common adhesives that have been used in SEM mounting. Both tab sides have a thick conductive adhesive (conductive inner tab is 35µm and the adhesive is 45µm on each side for a total thickness of 125µm [5 mils]) with a liner on both sides, a transparent liner and white liner respectively. They are ready for immediate use. The top protective liner does not have to be removed until the sample is ready to be mounted. This reduces possible contamination. Outgassing is negligible.

PELCO^® 40 SEM Pin Mount Stand

ideal for storage or preparation

This practical pin mount stand made out of clean solid aluminum is either useful for storage or specimen preparation of large numbers of pin mounts. The pin mount stand can hold 40 of the standard 12.7mm (1/2") pin mounts or 12 of the 25mm (1") mounts. The pin mount stand is compatible with all types of SEM pin mounts up to 100mm (4") diameter and with the pin mount type SEM specimen holders. Six of these pin mount stands fit on a shelf in a 12"x12"x12" desiccator creating a storage capacity of 240 standard pin mounts per shelf!. Also very practical for storing pin mount type SEM specimen holders.
