Water Based: No outgassing of hydrocarbons, gives less contamination in SEM applications. Ideal graphite conductive paint for FESEM-APPLICATIONS. Slow drying (can be sped up by heat), low strength.
Isopropanol Based:This conductive graphite paint is used for standard SEM/EDS applications. Relatively fast drying.

Air drying silver paint to make effective ground. Curable at room temperature and has high adhesion to any material. Surfaces do not have to be prepared prior to application and will adhere to such materials as polymer (phenolic) boards, ceramic, glass, metal, plastic and fiberglass. It should be mixed well with a spatula before using. RoHS compliant.

PELCO Tabs™, Carbon Conductive Tabs, Double Coated

PELCO Tabs™, Carbon Conductive Tabs are a significant improvement compared to many of the other common adhesives that have been used in microscopy mounting. Both tab sides have a conductive adhesive with a liner on both sides, a transparent liner and white liner respectively. They are ready for immediate use.

Application of the tab to a mount or surface should be done slowly and carefully to maintain surface smoothness. Outgassing is negligible.

The conductive adhesive is a carbon filled acrylic, free of solvents. It can be removed from the specimen mount with ethyl acetate, ethanol, isopropanol alcohols or our 3M Adhesive Remover 80924 which is solvent free.

This product may also be used for gunshot residue analysis.

Carbon Conductive Tapes, Double Coated

These carbon tapes are conductive and may be used conveniently for scanning electron microscopy or EDS applications.
This is the same material as the PELCO Tabs™, Carbon Conductive Tabs (top of page), but in tape form. The tape form allows for special application uses such as custom sizes, cut-outs and shapes. The purity of this tape is identical to the standard tab form. Both sides of the tape have a thick conductive adhesive with a white liner. The double adhesive and conductive design permits quick mounting of samples without using liquid or colloidal adhesives.
The tape is relatively solid and non-porous and does not absorb small samples. The variety of widths affords efficient application to various specimen mount surface sizes.

3M Copper Conductive Tapes, Single Adhesive Surface

The tape is easily cut to size and may be quickly applied to a specimen mount or other surface. Carbon or metallic coating normally is applied to the sample and mount. An electrical discharge bridge is then completed from sample, through the copper and its conductive glue to the grounded specimen mount.
The tape is dead soft copper with a conductive acrylic adhesive. It is supplied on a removable liner for easy handling and cutting. The tape offers excellent conductivity through the foil backing.

PELCO^® 10 Hitachi SEM Mount Storage Holder and Box

Versatile storage box and holder for Hitachi SEM mounts with M4 threaded hole in the base. Tapered plastic posts allow easy storage and retrieval. Numbered 1 – 10 to accommodate Hitachi mounts from 15 to 32mm diameter. Can hold 10 of the 15mm mounts, 8 of the 25mm and 2 of the 32mm with enough space to place and remove the mounts. Maximum specimen height for 6mm high mounts is 15mm with closed lid.

Pikal^® Paste is a thick paste with a high contents of solids (abrasives) and is supplied in a tin. Yields good results in instrumentation cleaning and surface finishing in manufacturing. Can be used to remove "hard" stains on metal, glass and enamels. Widely used to clean vacuum systems, deposition sources and stainless steel chambers. Can be applied to wipes or cotton swabs for polishing. Test first when used on softer materials such copper, aluminum and soft metal alloys.
