The 8x magnifier is a high-performance, well designed tool, very convenient to have around your desk for daily use.
It uses a 24mm x 37mm angular object lens. A 2-element anachromatic lens is used in the eyepiece. The bottom edge of the transparent acrylic skirt is engraved with a scale 30mm long with 1mm divisions. Length: 46mm. Width: 49mm. Height: 39mm. Weight: 53g.

Film Marker - Puncher and Holder

This accessory helps to carry out an inspection of a long 35mm film roll by depressing the Puncher which gives a V-shaped cut in the film perforation to mark frames, while you view. Install the 75408 Magnifier on the surface of the Punch and you will be able to view and check a rollfilm. When fitted in the reverse position, you will be able to view and check slides.

Anastigmatic Magnifier, 4x

…or, flat objects less than 58mm in diameter. The image observed through the loupe is critically sharp from the center to the edge of the image field because of the careful optical correction of the lupe for astigmatism and curvature of field as well as aberrations concerning the image of the central image. Ordinary magnifiers are corrected only for the central image. This lupe is similar to anastigmatic photographic lenses and is manufactured with the same care and precision.
One point which distinguishes this lupe from photo-lenses is the position of the effective pupil of the loupe. It is placed as far as 25mm above the upper plane of the lupe. The observer can inspect the whole image field by merely moving the eye.
