Vibratome^® Specimen Trays

Vibratome®Deluxe Specimen Tray, 1 Tray w/3 Disks The Deluxe Specimen Tray mounts inside the existing black Vibratome bath. This large removable tray allows for the separation of buffer and ice kept in the original black bath. The tray can be sterilized and has round mounting disks that can be easily removed for mounting specimens. The disks and tray surface are marked with degrees of rotation for the repeatable placement and measurement of specimens. It is machined from high grade aluminum and anodized for chemical resistance and easy cleaning. Size of Deluxe Specimen Tray is 98.5 x 80 x 12.5mm (3-7/8" x 3-1/8" x 1/2"), disk is 47.5mm ø (1-7/8" ø)

900R Refrigerated Bath with Aerator and Control Module can be added to any Vibratome system The 900R peltier refrigeration system is also available with this extra Aerator system which allows for purging the cooled bath with air or oxygen to further increase the working time on the fresh tissue.

The 900R Aerator System has the same Bath dimensions as the standard 900R Refrigerated Bath System but works with a modified bath. An extra Controller Box to regulate airflow or oxygen flow is provided with a single tube connection to the bath. Also, a set of tubes, from the bath, for standard connection to the Control Module, which is included. Temperature of the chilled bath is in the range of -10°C to ambient temperature and maintains bath temperatures to ±0.02°C. The system does require a pressurized air or oxygen source and an external water source/drain or water chiller in the case of hard water. 	Rotating Stage Assembly The rotating stage assembly allows a specimen to be oriented to the blade after it has been affixed to the specimen mount. At a 20° blade angle, the rotating stage assembly will adjust up to 15°, still allowing 10mm clearance. This stage assembly replaces the standard Vibratome® vise assembly. The individual rotating specimen mounts have 1" surfaces and are easily replaceable. A storage block is available that accommodates six replaceable mounts. back up

Section Mounting Device A simple device designed to mount floated histological sections onto standard glass slides. This product facilitates the mounting of all types of thin (2µ - 100µ) tissue slices. It is especially useful for mounting tissue slices not supported by embedding material, such as those produced with a Vibratome®, freezing microtome (cryostat) or slicing microtome.
